Dr Raghuram Rajan is a name that requires no introduction, Ex-Governor Reserve Bank of India and a professor at Harvard University. Ankit Sir, a Youtuber and educator engaged with Dr Rajan on various current issues and Dr Rajan spoke with clarity and simplicity. What he says as an economist can be believed as a textbook statement but his opinion on matters outside the purview of economics is also worth giving time.
In this interview in Hindi, he deliberated on the economics and politics of tariff, on current matters like US/Israel- Iran War, on subsidies, on democracy, on India becoming a developed nation, on investments and others. We may agree or disagree on certain points like I too may not agree with all his points, still the interview is worth giving time.
One of the thoughts that he ignited in this interview was ‘What are we going to do after becoming a superpower or a developed nation?
